§ 6.00.07. Submission of preliminary and final plans to planning and architectural review board.

  • (a)

    Under the existing subdivision ordinances of the city, it shall be required that an applicant, at least thirty (30) days prior to such time as such plan shall be submitted to the city commission, submit preliminary plans of the proposed subdivision to the planning and architectural review board and to the city clerk for review by the city attorney, city engineer and city building official for their comments and recommendations to the city commission. After the city commission has reviewed comments and recommendations on the preliminary plans and has made its comments and recommendations on the preliminary plans, final plans for plat approval shall be likewise submitted thirty (30) days prior to the time such final plat approval is to be considered by the city commission, to the planning and architectural review board for comments and recommendations and to the city clerk for review by the city attorney, city engineer and city planning and zoning director for comments and recommendations to the city commission.

    (b)

    The commission hearing for final plat approval shall be a public hearing with notice duly published ten (10) days prior to such meeting.
