§ 6-23. Collection of tariffs; owners of real property to pay city resident rate upon proof of ownership by current tax receipt.

  • (a)

    The city administrator shall be responsible for the receipt and collection of all tariffs required in this article and the city commission may, from time to time, designate other persons as collection agents for the tariffs set in this article.

    (b)

    For the purpose of this section only, the term "city resident", as used herein, shall include owners of real property within the city, upon showing proof of ownership in the form of a current property tax receipt for the subject property. A "city resident" shall also be defined as legal residence of the city, upon showing proof of a voter registration card, Florida driver's license, Florida identification card, or utility bills. Such persons shall be charged a city resident rate for admission to the municipal pier as provided for by law.
