§ 16-41. Business restricted to designated area, time.

  • (a)

    No person shall engage in, manage, transact or carry on the business of selling or marketing fresh produce or other farm products from any vehicle of any nature whatsoever or on foot, or from any temporary shelter on the public streets of the city except as hereinafter provided.

    (b)

    One may engage in, manage, transact or carry on the business of selling or marketing fresh produce on private property in commercially zoned areas within the city in the central business district, as set forth in Ordinance No. 94-20, provided that all selling tables are removed each evening. The lawful hours for the transaction of such businesses shall be from sunrise to sunset.
