§ 14-2. Reward.

(a)

The city commission hereby offers to any person furnishing information which leads to the arrest and conviction of any person who is engaged in the unlawful sale, use or possession of any unlawful drugs within the confines of the city, a reward of one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(b)

The name or names of any person or persons furnishing information which leads to the arrest and conviction of any such person shall be kept confidential and shall not be revealed to any person except upon court order of the proper court having jurisdiction thereof, and any reward paid to any person furnishing such information shall first be subject to the investigation, approval and recommendation to the city commission by the chief of police but in no event shall the name of the person to whom such a reward is paid be revealed to the public except upon court order as aforesaid.
