§ 7.06.09. Flags and flagpoles and pennants.

  • A.

    Residential Districts:

    i.

    Flag size — The flag size of flags located on all residential zoned lots shall not exceed twenty-eight (28) square feet.

    ii.

    Location — All flagpoles shall be setback a minimum of five-feet from front and rear property line, ten (10) percent from side property line and fifteen (15) feet from a side street on a corner lot .

    iii.

    Maximum height — The maximum height of a flagpole or supporting structure shall not exceed twenty (20) feet.

    iv.

    Maximum number of flags — The maximum number of flags and pennants shall not exceed a total of three (3) per lot.

    v.

    Pennant criteria — Pennants shall not exceed eight (8) square feet and the maximum height shall not exceed nine (9) feet.

    vi.

    Number of signs — Flags, flagpoles, and pennants shall not be calculated in a lot or premises' total allowable number of permanent signs and sign copy area unless otherwise specified in this article.

    B.

    Non-residential districts:

    i.

    Flag size — The flag size of flags located on all non-residential zoned lots shall not exceed thirty-five (35) square feet.

    ii.

    Location — All flagpoles shall be setback a minimum of five-feet from all property lines.

    iii.

    Maximum height — the maximum height of a flagpole or other supporting structure shall not exceed forty (40) feet.

    iv.

    Maximum number of flags — The maximum number of flags and pennants shall not exceed a total of three (3) per lot.

    v.

    Pennant criteria — Pennants shall not exceed eight (8) square feet and the maximum height shall not exceed nine (9) feet.

    vi.

    Number of signs — Flags, flagpoles, and pennants shall not be calculated in a lot or premises' total allowable number of permanent signs and sign copy area unless otherwise specified in this article.
